Helping Veterans and First Responders
Our goal is to connect a service animal with every veteran in need.
Service animals offer many benefits to veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These benefits include providing veterans with a sense of companionship, helping veterans to feel more relaxed and alert, and giving veterans a sense of purpose. In addition, service animals can help veterans to cope with anxiety, depression, and nightmares. Service animals can also help veterans to reintegrate into society after their return from combat.
Service animals are trained to perform specific tasks that assist veterans with disabilities. Veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) often use service animals to help them cope with their condition. Service animals can provide tangible and emotional support to veterans with PTSD. They can help veterans feel safe and secure, and remind them that they are not alone.
